It is often forgotten that sound is one of the most important aspects of cinema. Utilizing 18+ audio tracks, I attempted to tell my version of the story behind Victor Meirelles' painting, Passagem de Humaitá (1886).

A young girl who has faced trauma in her life decides to climb the daunting hill on the street that brings back some of her most painful memories.

Persuasive theme: Never give up in the face of adversity. Be resilient despite the odds against you. You can overcome anything that you set your mind to.
